Urgent Pet Care is here when you need to make end-of-life decisions for your pet.

We aim to give families and their pet privacy and dignity during this profound transition.

Helping Your Companion Transition Peacefully

  • No appointment is necessary for humane euthanasia at Urgent Pet Care. If possible, please call ahead so we know you’re on the way.
  • UPC can provide palliative care and pain management for patients while difficult decisions are being made
  • Paperwork and payment will be handled ahead of time alongside our staff. We want to ensure that you aren’t required to go back into the waiting room, nor required to make choices on how to memorialize your pet, after your companion has passed.
  • We allow families unlimited time in a private space to say goodbye to their loved one–before, during, and after a pet’s transition
  • Both Urgent Pet Care clinics have a private exit for grieving families

Cremation Services Available at Urgent Pet Care

Urgent Pet Care has cremation services available for pets who transition at our clinic or at home. We offer communal cremation and private cremation options.
  • Clay paw prints, ink prints, and fur clippings are available memorial options regardless of whether a pet is privately cremated or communally cremated*
  • Private cremation includes a selection of beautiful urns, in addition to more memorial options like urn pendants, memorial artwork, and keepsakes
  • Private cremations come with access to a 24/7 grief counseling careline by trained counselors
  • You will receive a phone call from UPC staff as soon as private cremains are available for pickup at the clinic
  • Communal cremation is also provided as a respectful, economical option. With communal cremation, your pet’s ashes are not returned to you. Ashes are laid to rest in a communal burial plot within a pet cemetery owned by Trusted Journey.
*Due to Trusted Journey’s policy, paw prints, ink prints, and fur clippings are not available for pets who are being tested for rabies, nor for pets who have a confirmed zoonotic disease (including but not limited to leptospirosis, tularemia, and rabies). Private or communal cremation, and other memorials available to private cremations, are still options.

Pets who Pass at Home

We offer cremation services for pets who do not pass at UPC. Please call us to discuss details so we can help you lay your pet to rest.
