A rash on your dog is a skin irritation that pet owners commonly notice. Rashes can come from a simple irritant or can be a bigger problem. Depending on the age of your dog, he or she may be suffering from Impetigo. This bacteria induced rash usually occurs in puppies or dogs up to one-year-old. Heat rash can also appear as a rash on your dog, particularly on your dog’s stomach and can be an indication that your dog is overheated. Further, yeast infections often appear as a rash on your pet’s skin and can become quite aggressive if left untreated.
