Dear Urgent Pet Care Family,
As you are all aware, the spread of COVID-19 is causing massive disruptions locally and across our nation. We want to assure you that we remain OPEN with regular business hours to help provide healthcare to your beloved pets. In order to keep our valued clients and caring team members healthy, and do our part in social-distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we have adjusted our protocols for the hospital.
For now, only pets are allowed inside the hospital. Please call us by cell phone when you arrive in the parking lot. A team member will meet you outside to retrieve your pet. We are committed to spending the time with you on the phone and with each patient to provide care. This may take more time, and your patience is greatly appreciated. Remember, critical patients will be seen first. The doctor will call you on the phone after the doctor has completed the examination. You may view the complete protocol here.
Since this is an ever-changing situation, we will adjust as needed in accordance with the CDC, WHO, state, and local guidelines. We will keep you updated with any changes via email and on our Facebook and Instagram accounts.
Please note that there are no current indications that COVID-19 affects pets.
We already have rigorous cleaning protocols in place for the hospital, and we have increased the frequency of these cleanings as well. All team members wash their hands (following CDC recommendations) with soap and water before and after each exam. Anyone feeling ill for any reason is urged to stay home. The additional measures taken are for the safety of our clientele and our team, so that we can continue to serve the needs of our patients and our community that we love.
