COVID-19 Update

Dear Urgent Pet Care Family,

Please call to secure an appointment prior to arrival.

Even though restrictions are starting to ease in the Omaha, Council Bluffs and surrounding areas, the coronavirus is still present and a serious concern. For that reason, we feel it is in the best interests of our team and clients to continue curbside care for the foreseeable future. We realize this is a slower process and ask for your patience while we evaluate the multitude of patients we trying to help.

This means we will continue to limit access to our hospitals to team members and client pets only. We ask that you call first to secure an appointment for non – critical cases. Critical cases or life-threatening cases are being evaluated during the phone call and given instructions for immediate reservations. Please understand that critical cases or life threatening will be seen first regardless of existing appointments. Please call to discuss our protocol regarding humane euthanasia, if indicated. You can view our complete curbside protocol here.

In some life-threatening cases, we may allow 1-2 owners into the building. No children will be allowed into the building at this time. Masks are always required to enter the building.

We will also continue to maintain rigorous cleaning protocols, hand washing procedures, and a mandatory stay home policy for any team member who is feeling ill. We require masks for all team members as well.

We ask that if you are experiencing COVID -19 symptoms or have been exposed to COVID-9 that you find alternative transportation for your pet and alert us that he/she is coming from a COVID-19 positive household.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this time.

Stay safe and well, everyone.
